Biden’s Doctor Testifies?

Dr. Kevin O’Connor, longtime physician to former President Joe Biden, has been subpoenaed to testify before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on July 9, as Republican lawmakers dig deeper into questions surrounding Biden’s mental acuity, health reports, and possible political cover-ups.

The subpoena was issued by Chairman James Comer (R-KY), who is leading a growing investigation into Biden’s physical and cognitive health during his time in the White House. Concerns have escalated in light of Biden’s recent prostate cancer diagnosis, paired with new books and insider reports that paint a troubling picture of the final days of his presidency.

The committee is examining Biden’s ability to fulfill the duties of Commander-in-Chief and his reported use of an autopen to sign critical documents—raising questions about who was truly in charge.

Dr. O’Connor has treated Biden since his time as Vice President under Barack Obama, remained the Biden family’s physician after they left office, and returned to the White House in 2021. His February 2024 physical declared Biden “fit for duty” and capable of executing his responsibilities without limitations. However, many conservatives and medical professionals now view that report with growing suspicion.

Comer previously asked O’Connor to appear voluntarily for a transcribed interview, emphasizing the need for transparency and accountability. His letter noted that “the Committee seeks to ensure the American people were not misled by politically motivated medical assessments.” O’Connor’s legal team declined, citing a D.C. code that protects patient confidentiality—prompting Comer to escalate with a formal subpoena.

This high-stakes hearing is shaping up to be a pivotal moment in the GOP’s effort to expose what many believe was a coordinated effort to hide Biden’s health struggles from the public. With Biden’s medical condition now in the spotlight, Republicans are demanding answers—and accountability.
