Democrats Gloat Online, Mocking Musk and Trump Supporters
Soon after the results came in, Democrat leaders wasted no time celebrating online. The official Democratic Party account on X (formerly Twitter) posted a photo of Elon Musk wearing a cheese-shaped hat labeled “loser”—a jab clearly designed to taunt Trump supporters and conservative voters in the Badger State.
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, who was the Democrats’ vice presidential nominee last cycle, gloated, “Wisconsin beat the billionaire.” Senator Elizabeth Warren added her usual talking points, claiming, “Our democracy is not for sale,” while congratulating the far-left judge who now tips the balance of the court.
Musk and America PAC Invested Big to Defend Conservative Values
Elon Musk, concerned about judicial activism and threats to election integrity, personally poured over $12 million into the race through his America PAC. His goal: support Brad Schimel, a proven conservative, and push back against radical leftist influence on state courts.
Musk echoed the concerns of many Americans when he warned that even state-level races could “determine the fate of Western civilization.” His investments aimed to counter the media bias and political machine propping up liberal judges.
Conservatives Fight Back with Grassroots Support and Voter ID Push
In a bold move, Musk visited Wisconsin just days before the election, hosting a packed town hall where he issued two symbolic $1 million checks to attendees, calling the stunt “cheaper and more effective” than mainstream media ads. He also launched a grassroots voter petition campaign, paying citizens $100 for signing up against judicial activism—and another $100 for each referral.
Democrats immediately attempted to shut down the effort in court, calling it a violation of state law. But a judge refused their emergency injunction request, allowing conservative voters to make their voices heard.
Musk responded to the outcome early Wednesday morning, writing, “I expected to lose, but there is value to losing a piece for a positional gain.” He emphasized that Wisconsin’s voter ID measure, which passed the same night, was the real win for election security.
