The White House announced that Second Lady Usha Vance, accompanied by one of her sons, plans to tour Greenland, exploring historical landmarks, experiencing local traditions, and attending the famous Greenlandic dogsled race. The delegation also includes Waltz, one of former President Donald Trump’s closest allies, raising speculation about potential political motivations behind the trip.

“This isn’t merely a casual visit from a political spouse,” Egede told Greenland news outlet Sermitsiaq. He questioned, “Why else would Trump’s most trusted national security advisor visit Greenland? It’s clearly a demonstration of political power, designed to send a message.”
