The truth always comes out!

Billionaire entrepreneur and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has praised the heroic efforts of his team and NASA after successfully bringing home two American astronauts who had been stranded on the International Space Station (ISS) for nearly nine months.

“Thanks to the outstanding work of the SpaceX team in collaboration with NASA, the astronauts have finally returned home safely. Congratulations to both SpaceX and NASA on a job well done,” Musk stated during an exclusive interview on Hannity Tuesday night.

Musk, who has been a key figure in advancing American space exploration, also extended his deep gratitude to President Donald Trump for his leadership in ensuring the astronauts’ safe return.

Abandoned in Space by Biden? The Scandal Unfolds

Astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams were initially scheduled to stay aboard the ISS for just a week following the launch of Boeing’s first astronaut flight in June 2024. However, when their spacecraft experienced serious technical issues, NASA deemed it unsafe for re-entry. The result? Wilmore and Williams were left aboard the ISS for months, with no clear resolution in sight.

The safe return of Wilmore, Williams, Crew-9 Commander Nick Hague, and Russian cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov finally took place on Tuesday, with their capsule splashing down off the Florida coast shortly before 6 p.m. ET. But their prolonged stay in orbit raised serious political questions—questions that the Biden administration struggled to answer.

Elon Musk had previously revealed in a Hannity interview that the Biden administration rejected SpaceX’s earlier offers to bring the astronauts home.

Trump Takes Charge: “Go Get Our Astronauts”

Upon taking office, President Trump wasted no time in addressing the situation. He directly tasked Musk with ensuring the astronauts’ safe return, calling out Biden’s inaction.

“I requested Elon Musk and SpaceX to save the two American astronauts who have been totally abandoned in space by Biden,” Trump posted at the time. “These 2 have been waiting for several months on the Space Station. Musk is on his way.”

Trump’s leadership put pressure on NASA and the spaceflight industry to act, leading to the eventual safe return of the astronauts.

NASA Remains Silent on Biden’s Role in the Space Scandal

When questioned at a post-landing press conference, NASA Deputy Associate Administrator Joel Montalbano refused to directly address Trump and Musk’s claims, stating only that he was not involved in any discussions with the previous administration. This lack of transparency only raises more concerns about what really happened behind the scenes.

Musk, however, made it clear: “We offered to bring these astronauts back to earth earlier. There’s absolutely no doubt about that.” He continued, “They were only supposed to be on the space station for just 8 days, and now they have been stuck up there for almost 10 months. It makes no sense. We could have brought them back a long time ago, but Biden decided against it for political purposes.”

The Bottom Line: Trump and Musk Put America First

The successful return of Wilmore and Williams underscores what strong leadership can achieve. While the Biden administration turned its back on these astronauts, it was President Trump’s decisive action and Elon Musk’s innovation that ultimately secured their rescue.

This incident serves as yet another example of Biden’s failure to prioritize American heroes. Thankfully, with Trump and leaders like Musk stepping up, American greatness and ingenuity continue to prevail.
