Has Trump Put America First So Far?

Republicans Planning To Flip How Many Democrat Seats?

GOP Sets Its Sights on Key Battleground Districts

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) has identified 26 vulnerable House Democrats in its mission to take back the majority in the 2026 midterm elections. As everyday Americans struggle under high inflation, rising crime, and failed leadership, the Republican Party is going on the offensive to unseat liberal incumbents who have repeatedly put radical policies ahead of hardworking citizens.

Democrats on the Chopping Block

Among those targeted by the NRCC’s aggressive campaign strategy are:

  • California: Adam Gray, Derek Tran, Josh Harder, George Whitesides, Dave Min
  • Florida: Darren Soto, Jared Moskowitz
  • Indiana: Frank Mrvan
  • Maine: Jared Golden
  • Michigan: Kristen McDonald Rivet
  • North Carolina: Don Davis
  • New Hampshire: Chris Pappas
  • New Jersey: Nellie Pou
  • New Mexico: Gabe Vasquez
  • Nevada: Dina Titus, Susie Lee, Steven Horsford
  • New York: Tom Suozzi, Laura Gillen, Josh Riley
  • Ohio: Marcy Kaptur, Emilia Sykes
  • Texas: Henry Cuellar, Vicente Gonzalez
  • Virginia: Eugene Vindman
  • Washington: Marie Gluesenkamp Perez

These Democrat lawmakers represent districts where President Trump performed strongly in 2024, making them prime targets for a Republican takeover.

House Republicans Are Taking the Fight to Democrats

NRCC Chair Richard Hudson (R-N.C.) made the party’s strategy clear:

“House Republicans are on offense this election cycle. Meanwhile, vulnerable House Democrats have shown time and again that they are completely disconnected from the concerns of hardworking families. We will take this battle to their districts and replace them with leaders who prioritize American values.”

This signals a massive grassroots push to rally conservative voters and expose the radical policies that have led to economic instability, open-border chaos, and rising crime.

Democrats Scramble to Defend Their Weak Record

Despite their failing economic policies and record-high inflation, Democrats are scrambling to defend their most vulnerable members. A Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) spokesperson, Viet Shelton, claimed that their candidates would prevail again, despite mounting opposition.

However, Americans are growing tired of:
Skyrocketing gas prices and inflation
Out-of-control government spending
Weak border policies that endanger American families
Radical leftist agendas infiltrating schools and communities

With Biden’s approval ratings plummeting, many political analysts predict that 2026 could be a massive red wave.

2026: A Pivotal Election for America’s Future

The NRCC’s target list comes just as the DCCC released its “Frontline Program” list, identifying vulnerable Democrats in need of extra campaign support. Interestingly, 13 of these Democrats represent districts that President Trump won—a clear indication that Democrats are in trouble.

Notably, some names on the Frontline list were left off the NRCC’s target list, including Reps. Jahana Hayes, John Mannion, and Janelle Bynum. Meanwhile, NRCC targets like Soto, Pappas, and Moskowitz were not included in the Democrats’ priority defense plan—potential signs of internal party weakness.
