What Really Happened?
Witkoff traveled to Moscow this week for high-level diplomatic discussions regarding the Ukraine conflict. After departing Russia on Friday, he confirmed there was no deal on a ceasefire, but Trump himself stated that the talks were “very good and productive.”
On Friday, Trump took to Truth Social to set the record straight, firing back at the media’s deception:
“The Fake News is at it again! Why can’t they just be truthful, just once? yesterday night I leanred that Vladimir Putin of Russia kept my Special Envoy, Steve Witkoff, waiting for more than 9 hours when, in fact, there was no wait at all.”
