On his Truth Social platform, Trump expressed his disapproval, stating, “Kamala Harris wants NOTHING TO DO WITH CROOKED JOE BIDEN. They stole the Presidency from him — ‘It was a Coup!'” Trump’s comments reflect a broader sentiment that Biden has been poorly treated by the Democratic establishment.
Recent reports from Politico have shed light on Biden’s dissatisfaction with the Democratic Party. It appears that Biden remains upset over being replaced by Vice President Kamala Harris as the leading candidate on the presidential ticket. This shift, orchestrated behind the scenes by former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., has left Biden feeling betrayed.
Biden’s frustration extends to other key figures in the Democratic Party. He reportedly feels let down by former President Barack Obama, who, despite having served as Biden’s vice president, did not address Biden’s concerns directly. Additionally, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., has also come under Biden’s scrutiny.
In his Thursday post, Trump emphasized that Biden’s anger is more directed at his former allies than at him. Trump noted, “He now HATES Obama and Crazy Nancy more than he hates me!” This comment underscores Trump’s belief that Biden’s grievances are primarily with members of his own party rather than with his political opponents.
Furthermore, Trump commented on Biden’s expected appearance at the Democratic National Convention (DNC), which is set to occur from August 19 to August 22 in Chicago. Trump took a jab at the convention schedule, suggesting that Biden’s appearance on the opening night, which he referred to as “Death Valley,” indicates a relegated status. This slot is often considered less prominent, typically reserved for less high-profile speakers.
The DNC will serve as a platform for delegates to rally around Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, as they gear up for the upcoming elections.
