DeSantis Issues Warning About Kamala Harris
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis recently warned that the mainstream media will likely attempt to obscure Vice President Kamala Harris’ record in the coming months. Speaking on Fox News, DeSantis predicted that the media’s efforts to protect Harris will intensify as the 2024 election approaches.
“Here in Florida, we know the summer heat is intense, but the real climate change we’re about to experience is a storm of misinformation,” DeSantis said. “The corporate media, alongside Hollywood and academia, will be working overtime to reframe Vice President Harris in a more favorable light, despite her clear record of failures.”
DeSantis criticized the media for their previous efforts to push President Joe Biden out of office, noting that now they are focused on rehabilitating Harris’ image. “They have to present her as something she’s not,” he argued. “In reality, Harris is not only extremely liberal but also lacks substantial achievements. She is directly responsible for the failures of the Biden-Harris administration, including the ongoing border crisis and rampant inflation.”
The governor further suggested that Harris is an easy target for criticism due to her alignment with unpopular policies. “If Biden were to step aside, Harris would be the logical choice for Democrats, but she’s fully accountable for the administration’s shortcomings,” DeSantis said. “Most Americans are dissatisfied with the direction the country is heading, and Harris is inextricably linked to these failures.”
DeSantis also reflected on the low bar set by Biden, comparing his performance to Harris’. “Biden’s inability to communicate effectively has made even a lackluster performer like Harris seem more competent by comparison,” he noted. “But despite her youth, she’s not exactly impressing anyone.”
In conclusion, DeSantis remained optimistic that truth would eventually prevail. “The American people are smart, and I believe they’ll see through the media’s attempts to rewrite history. We’re in for a tough fight, but the truth will come out,” he said.
