Biden To Reduce Son's Jail Time, Is This Acceptable?

Democrats Destroy Trump’s Golf Course

They want to take everything from Trump.

The New Jersey Division of Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) is currently examining the liquor licenses held by properties owned by former President Donald Trump. This scrutiny is prompted by Trump’s recent felony conviction, with the ABC evaluating if this infringes on a New Jersey state law clause that prohibits licensing based on criminal history.

In a statement to Fox News Digital, Attorney General Matthew Platkin’s office noted, “ABC is looking into the impact of President Trump’s conviction on the licenses and declines to provide additional comment.”

According to New Jersey state law, “No license of any class shall be given to anyone under the age of 18 or to any person whose been convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude.”

Trump’s conviction involves 34 counts of faking business records, decided in a New York City court on May 30. Despite this legal setback, his support base appears largely unaffected.

The properties under review for their liquor licenses include Trump National Golf Club Colts Neck, Trump National Golf Club Pine Hill, and the Lamington Farm Club.

This isn’t the first time Trump’s liquor licenses have faced scrutiny. In 2019, then-Attorney General Gurbir Grewal sought to revoke the liquor license of Trump National Golf Club Colts Neck following a fatal car accident involving a driver who had consumed alcohol at the club. Consequently, the club paid around $400,000 to the ABC and agreed to limit alcohol sales to specific areas within the premises.

The current review’s outcome could have significant ramifications for Trump’s New Jersey properties, depending on how the ABC decides to interpret and apply the state’s licensing laws in light of his recent felony conviction.
