Biden Calls Trump A 'Convicted Felon', Is This Appropriate?

‘Baby Girl’ Ocasio-Cortez Silent On Heinous Crime

Why is AOC so silent?

Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, a Republican from New York, has publicly criticized fellow New York representative, Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, for not addressing the recent shooting of two police officers in her district, an incident allegedly involving a Venezuelan gang member.

Malliotakis referenced a recent heated exchange between Ocasio-Cortez and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican from Georgia, using Ocasio-Cortez’s own words to highlight the issue.

“Hey Baby Girl,” Malliotakis wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday night, tagging Ocasio-Cortez. Malliotakis then talked about how two cops were shot by illegals and asked why she was remaining silent about the issue.

Fox News Digital reached out to Ocasio-Cortez’s office for a comment early Wednesday but did not receive a response.

Authorities reported that Castro Mata illegally entered the United States last July through Eagle Pass, Texas, and had been staying at a migrant shelter in East Elmhurst, Queens. Although he had no prior arrests in New York City, police suspect him of involvement in a series of robberies and being part of a criminal group using motorized scooters for their activities.

The shooting happened at around 1:45 a.m. on Monday at the intersection of 89th and 23rd Avenue in Queens. Officers from the 115th Precinct’s public safety unit attempted to stop a suspect riding a scooter against traffic. Castro Mata fled on foot and fired at the officers, who returned fire. Both officers have since been released from the hospital, while Castro Mata, who was also injured, reportedly underwent surgery for an ankle injury.

Last month, during a congressional hearing where the House’s Oversight and Judiciary Committee held Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt, Ocasio-Cortez had a notable interaction with Greene. When Rep. Jasmine Crockett, a Democrat from Texas, interrupted Greene, Greene responded with a personal comment about Crockett’s appearance. Ocasio-Cortez then moved to have Greene’s words removed from the record, arguing that it was unacceptable to attack someone’s physical appearance. Greene asked if her feelings were hurt to which Ocasio-Cortez replied, “Oh girl, baby girl! Don’t even play.”
