Biden Says Classified Docs Should Disqualify Trump From Presidency, You Agree?

Clinton Jumps Into 2024 Election

Democrats are pulling out all the stops.

President Biden’s reelection campaign is gearing up for a significant fundraiser in Virginia next month, featuring the Clintons and First Lady Jill Biden, according to a source confirmed by The Post.

Former Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe will host this major event on June 18 at his residence in McLean, Virginia. The fundraiser will showcase former President Bill Clinton, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and First Lady Jill Biden. McAuliffe, who governed Virginia from 2014 to 2018, was later defeated by Governor Glenn Youngkin in the 2021 election.

Axios was the first to report on this upcoming fundraiser.

This event follows a high-profile “three president” fundraiser in New York in March, where President Biden was joined by former Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. That event raised approximately $26 million for Biden’s reelection campaign, according to the Biden-Harris team.

In mid-June, Biden is also expected to attend another high-profile fundraiser in Los Angeles, hosted by actor George Clooney and featuring former President Obama.

The McLean fundraiser marks the third major event of this kind for Biden’s campaign.

In March, Biden’s campaign outpaced former President Donald Trump’s efforts, raising $90 million through his campaign and the Democratic National Committee, as reported by his team. In contrast, Trump and the Republican National Committee raised $66 million during the same period.

However, Trump reportedly surpassed Biden in April, raising $50.5 million at a Florida fundraiser, bringing his total to about $76 million for the month, compared to Biden’s $51 million. This was the first time this year that Trump had out-fundraised Biden.

Despite this, Biden’s campaign and the DNC have reported a substantial $192 million cash on hand, significantly more than Trump and the RNC’s $88 million.

The McLean event is expected to include a reception followed by a more exclusive dinner, according to Axios.

By the end of June, Biden is scheduled to participate in a debate against Trump in Atlanta, Georgia, hosted by CNN on June 27.

Meanwhile, Trump has been dealing with legal issues, specifically his Manhattan hush money trial, which has constrained his campaign activities and fundraising efforts. The trial is expected to conclude soon, with closing arguments set to begin this week.
