Is President Biden Creepy?

Trump Gets Cursed Out By McCarthy

After being ousted as Speaker in October, Kevin McCarthy, the former Speaker and Republican from California, reportedly expressed his frustration with former President Trump. According to The Washington Post, McCarthy, who had previously been a staunch supporter of Trump, confronted the former president after Trump failed to support him during the removal efforts.

Following a phone call in which Trump provided McCarthy with a list of reasons for not backing him, McCarthy reportedly unleashed his frustration, telling Trump, “F‑‑‑ you,” as recounted by sources familiar with the conversation.

Despite McCarthy’s prior support for Trump, which included standing by him through criminal indictments and a post-election visit to console the former president in Florida, their relationship soured. A widely criticized photo of McCarthy and Trump smiling together after the Jan. 6 Capitol riots fueled further controversy.

During his removal as Speaker, Trump did not offer any support to McCarthy and instead explicitly endorsed Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) for the position, although Jordan failed to secure enough votes.

McCarthy downplayed Trump’s lack of support at the time, emphasizing that only members would be voting on the matter. While he has not officially endorsed a candidate for the 2024 presidential election, McCarthy was reportedly planning to endorse Trump in the near future, particularly in Iowa.
