Karma Comes Knocking For Corrupt Democrats
On Monday night, Representative Henry Cuellar, a Democrat from Texas, fell victim to a carjacking incident involving three armed assailants, according to a statement released by his office. Reports indicate that one of the attackers held a gun to his head during the incident.
According to Newsmax, the statement from Cuellar’s chief of staff, Jacob Hochberg, explained that the carjacking occurred as Congressman Cuellar was parking his vehicle. Fortunately, he escaped physical harm, and he is currently cooperating with local law enforcement authorities. It has been reported that the authorities were able to recover Cuellar’s stolen vehicle.
The incident took place at approximately 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of New Jersey Avenue and K Street SE in Washington’s Navy Yard area, located roughly a mile from the U.S. Capitol.
This marks the second assault on a member of Congress in the District of Columbia this year. In February, Representative Angie Craig, a Democrat from Minnesota, was assaulted in her Washington apartment building, sustaining bruises but avoiding serious injury. Her chief of staff clarified that the attack did not appear to have a political motive.
In June, Kendrid Khalil Hamlin, aged 26, pleaded guilty to charges related to the assault on a member of Congress, as well as assaulting law enforcement officers in connection with the incident that occurred on the same day as the attack on Representative Craig.
