Trump Calls Out Democrats Again
President Donald Trump on Saturday renewed his criticism of the mainstream media and the Democratic Party, arguing that years of negative news coverage have failed to slow his political success while warning that the Democratic Party has embraced increasingly radical ideas.
In a series of posts on Truth Social, Trump reflected on his political career, saying he has repeatedly prevailed despite what he described as relentless attacks from many major news organizations. He argued that his electoral success demonstrates that voters have rejected the media’s portrayal of him and his policies.
Trump also pointed to the unusual circumstances surrounding his most recent presidential campaign, saying he faced multiple Democratic opponents while dealing with what he characterized as overwhelmingly negative press coverage.
Trump wrote that he faced an unprecedented campaign, saying he ran against both “Sleepy Joe” and Kamala Harris while contending with what he described as nearly nonstop negative media coverage and “Fake News.”
He added that his victories have consistently come despite criticism from political opponents and many national media outlets.
“All I do is WIN, often against all odds,” Trump said.
The president went on to argue that even after securing another election victory, many of his critics immediately returned to attacking his administration rather than recognizing the outcome of the race.
According to Trump, news organizations have shown little willingness to acknowledge either his political success or the support he received from voters.
“There’s no, ‘Gee, he won, he did a great job,'” Trump wrote.
He continued, “There’s no saying, ‘Maybe we were wrong about him, the people were right,’ or, ‘Congratulations, we wish you Great Success for our Country!'”
Trump suggested that his repeated election victories should prompt his critics to reconsider their approach.
“Isn’t it time they say, ‘We give up, we can’t beat him,'” he wrote before adding, “TRUMP IS THE BEST POLITICAL ATHLETE OF ALL TIME! CONGRATULATIONS, MR. PRESIDENT… DO A GREAT JOB, SIR, RUNNING OUR COUNTRY. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
The president also argued that his success at the ballot box reflects declining public confidence in traditional news organizations.
“With only bad Press and Fake News, I won the Presidential Election IN A LANDSLIDE,” Trump wrote. “Therefore, the Media has NO CREDIBILITY! If it did, that Historic Win would not have been possible.”
Beyond criticizing the media, Trump also focused on the direction of the Democratic Party, claiming its leadership has moved well beyond traditional liberal policies and embraced more extreme political positions.
Trump wrote that he has long maintained the United States would never embrace socialism, adding that events have proven him “100% correct.”
He then argued that Democrats had moved even further to the left.
Trump went on to argue that Democrats have moved beyond socialism and embraced what he described as communism, adding, “AMERICA WILL NEVER BE A COMMUNIST COUNTRY!”
In a separate Truth Social post, Trump claimed that the Democratic Party is now being driven by its most progressive members rather than more moderate voices.
Trump claimed that what he called the “Radical Left Lunatics,” whom he also referred to as “Dumocrats,” are now driving the Democratic Party.
He added that he hopes Democrats will reject what he described as an increasingly extreme political ideology, saying he does not want “this sick, Communist ideology” to gain a stronger foothold in the United States.
Trump concluded his remarks by once again urging the national media to change course, arguing that journalists could restore public trust by providing what he considers fairer and more balanced coverage.
He said he hopes news organizations can regain “the Respect which they have so sadly lost” while helping “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.”
The latest Truth Social posts highlight themes that have remained central to Trump’s political message for years, including his criticism of the mainstream media, his belief that voters have repeatedly rejected establishment narratives, and his warnings about the direction of the Democratic Party. Those issues are expected to remain key talking points as his administration advances its policy agenda and political attention begins shifting toward the next election cycle.
