Jon Stewart Attacks Trump Again
Liberal TV host Jon Stewart is once again targeting President Donald Trump—this time over America’s bold military strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites. But while left-wing critics nitpick, patriotic Americans see these decisive actions as a clear message to America’s enemies: Don’t test our strength.
Stewart Questions Trump’s Success in Iran Strike
On Thursday’s episode of The Weekly Show, Stewart mocked the Trump administration’s response to a leaked U.S. intelligence assessment. That report, circulated among officials, suggested the recent strikes may not have fully “obliterated” Iran’s nuclear capabilities.
“If the mission worked, why act so angry and defensive?” Stewart asked, in a swipe clearly aimed at President Trump’s press team.
He also took aim at White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, quoting her response: “Everybody knows what happens when you use precision weapons like this.” Stewart responded sarcastically: “These weapons have never been used before in the history of the planet, but sure, ‘everybody knows.’”
President Trump Fires Back: ‘Total Destruction of Iranian Targets’
In classic Trump fashion, the President wasted no time pushing back. Taking to Truth Social, he declared: “The sites that we hit in Iran were totally destroyed—obliterated. Everyone knows it.”
Later in the week, Trump doubled down, calling the journalists behind the leaked report “sleazebags” and slamming them for spreading “fake news” during a critical national security moment.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth also dismissed the report’s findings, stating clearly that the strikes had “severely degraded Iran’s nuclear infrastructure.”
Democrats Doubt the Mission—But GOP Stands Firm with Trump
Democrats in Washington, as expected, echoed Stewart’s criticism. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) claimed: “No evidence has been presented to Congress that Iran’s nuclear program was completely destroyed.”
But the Republican response was swift and strong.
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) issued a powerful statement supporting Trump’s action. “This strike reminds the world that President Trump doesn’t bluff. Iran refused peace, and now they face the consequences.”
He continued: “This is the America First doctrine in action. Iran is the largest state sponsor of terrorism. Thanks to President Trump, they are now paying the price.”
America First, Stronger Than Ever
Speaker Johnson closed his statement with a heartfelt tribute to America’s service members:
“God bless the brave men and women in uniform—the greatest fighting force in the world. We pray for their safety and for our nation’s continued strength. May God bless America.”
Conclusion: Leadership the World Can Count On
While liberal media figures like Jon Stewart continue to criticize, millions of everyday Americans see a President who leads with strength, not hesitation. President Trump has once again proven that under his leadership, America stands tall, strikes fast, and puts our national security first.
