WASHINGTON, D.C. — Pennsylvania Congressman Dan Meuser is sounding the alarm, accusing Democrats of deliberately sabotaging the U.S. economy in a calculated effort to derail President Donald Trump’s pro-growth, America-First agenda.

“There’s no excuse for this,” he said. “Whether it’s seven weeks or two months — just get it done. The government needs to reopen, and we need to get back to work for the American people.”

Meuser pointed directly at Democrat overspending and big-government policies for fueling runaway inflation, crushing small businesses, and driving up everyday costs for working families.

“We’ve got families struggling to afford groceries, gas, and healthcare,” Meuser said. “And Democrats still want to spend more, regulate more, and tax more. It’s madness. The Affordable Care Act is broken and needs fixing — not more bureaucracy.”
