Trump Burger Owner Arrested By ICE
A Lebanese-born Trump supporter who built a booming burger business in Texas now faces removal from the United States over an alleged visa violation.
Roland Mehrez Beainy, 28, co-owner of the popular Trump Burger chain, is in hot water with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) after officials say he overstayed his visa.
According to ICE, Beainy entered the U.S. legally in 2019 on a temporary visitor visa but never left when it expired. The agency confirmed he had “no immigration benefits” that could stop his arrest or eventual deportation.
Beainy was taken into custody on May 16 and placed in detention. Nearly a month later, on June 13, an immigration judge granted him bond while his case moves through the courts.
Trump Burger has become a sensation among conservatives in Texas, serving burgers with buns branded with the word “TRUMP” in bold letters. The brand opened its third Houston-area location in April, with a fourth following in Bay City this summer. Earlier outlets in Bellville and Flatonia continue to draw loyal crowds.
Earlier this year, Beainy told reporters that demand for Trump-themed burgers was “through the roof,” prompting rapid expansion. But now, his legal troubles could force him out of the country — leaving questions about the future of the business.
The White House has declined to comment on the case, but the situation underscores President Trump’s long-standing call for strict enforcement against illegal immigration and visa overstays — a policy many Americans say is essential for border security.
