DOJ’s Trump Witch Hunt Costs Americans How Much?

In a surprising turn of events, the Justice Department is now asking Congress for another $34 million of taxpayer money so they can continue their Jan. 6 investigations and prosecutions.

What a joke. The DOJ is now asking for $34 million in taxpayer money to investigate what nobody in America even cares about anymore.

According to Newsmax, The DOJ wrote a letter to Congress saying, “The cases are unprecedented in scale and is expected to be among the most complex investigations prosecuted by the Department of Justice.”

Democrat and House Appropriations Chair Rosa DeLauro responded to the DOJ and said, “There are lots of requests. We’re taking a look at all of them and seeing what makes it and seeing what doesn’t make it.”

The Jan. 6 investigations have been going for a whopping 21 months and has used 93 federal prosecutors’ offices across the country.

The DOJ went on to say that if Congress didn’t give them $34 million to continue their investigation then there would be a “detrimental impact” on the U.S. Attorney’s Offices in the U.S.
