Convicted rap mogul Suge Knight suggests Trump may save Diddy from federal prison
In a shocking interview Tuesday night, former Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight floated the possibility that President Donald Trump could pardon rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs if he’s convicted in his high-profile federal sex trafficking and racketeering case.
Speaking to NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo from prison, Knight claimed Diddy’s connections—and Trump’s proven willingness to challenge the justice system—could lead to a presidential pardon.
“If he gets convicted, Trump’s going to pardon him,” Knight said flatly. “They don’t care about the charges. It’s all about the long run.”
Knight, currently serving a 28-year sentence for manslaughter, said he believes Combs has nothing to worry about. “He’s smart. He’s got influence. And I don’t think the prosecution’s case is that strong,” Knight added.
