Leaders Come To ICE’s Defense

A top official at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is sounding the alarm as agents face growing threats from radical left-wing protesters — threats so severe that many officers now wear masks just to stay alive.

Deputy Director Madison Sheahan told Newsmax’s American Agenda that ICE agents aren’t hiding — they’re protecting their families.

“These agents are enforcing the immigration laws that have existed for decades,” Sheahan said. “They’re not doing anything radical. They’re upholding federal law — and now they’re under attack simply for doing their jobs.”

Sheahan explained that under President Joe Biden’s open-border policies, ICE agents are increasingly targeted by pro-illegal immigration mobs, encouraged by Democrat politicians who, she says, are fueling unrest and lawlessness.

“We’ve had cases where protesters have blocked operations, threatened agents, and even physically attacked them,” Sheahan said. “We’re now at a point where ICE officers wear masks to avoid being doxxed, harassed, or worse. It’s about survival.”

One shocking incident involved a Democrat congressman from California who was accused of leaking the identity of an ICE agent — who was later injured in a confrontation with violent protesters. The lawmaker denies wrongdoing, but the message is clear: ICE agents are now in the crosshairs.

“We’ve never seen anything like this,” Sheahan added. “Officers are being ambushed while trying to protect our country — and left-wing politicians are fanning the flames.”

Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons recently voiced support for detaining illegal aliens throughout the legal process — a move Sheahan fully supports.

“ICE detention isn’t meant to punish. It’s about ensuring due process and making sure those here illegally are safely removed before they cause harm to law-abiding Americans,” she said.

Sheahan also delivered a stark warning about the scope of the border crisis under Biden.

“With this administration’s reckless open-border policies, we may never know how many criminal aliens have entered the U.S.,” she said. “The American people are left in the dark — and in danger.”
