Jeffries Attacks Trump

Los Angeles is erupting again—and Democrats are pointing fingers instead of fixing problems.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) is accusing President Donald Trump of “manufacturing a crisis” in California after Trump deployed the National Guard to Los Angeles to respond to growing unrest over immigration enforcement.

Jeffries, a longtime critic of Trump’s strong stance on illegal immigration, claimed the president is “fanning the flames” to distract Americans from what he calls a “failed” economic agenda. But critics say it’s Jeffries and his fellow Democrats who are failing—by siding with protestors, downplaying lawlessness, and undermining efforts to restore public safety.

“President Trump is doing what Democrats won’t—protecting American communities and enforcing the law,” said one supporter online.

Trump Takes Action as California Descends Into Unrest

Over the weekend, President Trump authorized the deployment of the National Guard to Los Angeles after escalating protests broke out over ICE operations. California leaders, including Governor Gavin Newsom (D), immediately pushed back—accusing the president of federal overreach and even threatening legal action.

Newsom posted on X: “This is a manufactured crisis. He is creating fear and terror to take over a state militia and violate the U.S. Constitution.”

But to many Americans—especially law-abiding taxpayers and seniors concerned about safety—Trump’s decision is seen as leadership in action.

“California officials refuse to enforce immigration laws,” said one retired veteran. “Trump is stepping in because they won’t.”

Jeffries Defends Protesters, Slams Trump’s Immigration Crackdown

Jeffries also defended the protesters in Los Angeles, insisting that Americans have the right to demonstrate—even as some protests have turned chaotic.

In an aggressive press conference, Jeffries claimed Trump was simply “distracting” from his domestic agenda and referenced January 6, 2021, accusing the president of hypocrisy for calling himself a law-and-order leader.

“Give me a break,” Jeffries scoffed. “Trump and his Republican extremists have zero credibility when it comes to law and order.”

But critics say Jeffries is rewriting history—and ignoring Trump’s repeated calls for peace and public safety. They point out that under Democrat leadership, cities like Los Angeles and San Francisco have seen a surge in crime, homelessness, and unrest.

Trump’s Supporters Back the Guard Deployment

While Democrats rush to condemn Trump, many Americans are applauding his swift action.

In communities across the country, especially among seniors and working-class families, there is growing frustration over open-border policies, rising crime, and what many call “Democrat double standards.”

“Democrats tie the hands of law enforcement, then complain when Trump steps in,” said one conservative radio host.

Jeffries also stood by L.A. Mayor Karen Bass and claimed that local law enforcement agencies like the LAPD and California Highway Patrol are fully capable of handling the situation. But many argue that the state’s soft-on-crime policies have left police underfunded, outnumbered, and politically handcuffed.

Bottom Line: Trump Enforces Law, Democrats Push Lawsuits

The contrast is clear.

  • President Trump is taking action to protect American cities, defend the rule of law, and uphold immigration enforcement.
  • Democrat leaders, meanwhile, are filing lawsuits, backing protests, and trying to score political points instead of restoring order.

As unrest spreads and California officials appear more focused on politics than public safety, many voters—especially older Americans—are once again rallying behind Trump’s America First leadership.
