Trump Says Justice System Corrupt Under Democrats, Is He Right?

Biden Attacks 2nd Amendment, Gets Humiliated

After a series of mass shootings, President Biden sparked outrage after he vowed to attack gun rights across America.

Now Democrat Senator Chris Murphy poured cold water on Biden’s plan to tackle gun rights by admitting that he does not have the votes to pass an assault weapons ban in Congress.

According to Fox, Senator Murphy insisted that a bill aiming to ban assault weapons probably won’t get the votes needed to make it’s way to Biden’s desk for signing.

With the 50-50 split in Congress, Democrats will need 10 Republicans to flip on their own party for the ban to actually go through and that just won’t happen. This means that all of these claims that Biden is making about enforcing gun control is just all talk.

Murphy explained, “I’m glad that President Biden is gonna be pushing us to take a vote on an assault weapons ban. The House has already passed it. It’s sitting in front of the Senate. Does it have 60 votes in the Senate right now? Probably not, but let’s see if we can try to get that number as close to 60 as possible.”

“If we don’t have the votes, then we’ll talk to [Senate Majority Leader Chuck] Schumer and maybe come back next year, with maybe an additional senator, and see if we can do better,” Murphy then said.
