Fetterman Calls Out Democrat Party

In a rare moment of honesty from within the Democratic Party, Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) is pushing back hard against growing anti-Israel sentiment among Democrats—raising serious concerns about the party’s direction on national security and foreign policy.

During a Thursday interview with Jesse Watters, Fetterman openly criticized members of his own party for turning against one of America’s closest allies.

“That’s insane,” Fetterman said, reacting to new polling data. “That’s our special ally.”

Shocking Poll: Majority of Democrats Turn Against Israel

According to a new survey from the Pew Research Center, a staggering 80% of Democrats and Democrat-leaning independents now hold a negative view of Israel.

Across all Americans, 60% expressed an unfavorable opinion, while nearly 6 in 10 said they have little confidence in Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Even more alarming: younger Americans are leading the shift. Among those under 50, 70% reported negative views of Israel.

For many longtime voters, this marks a dramatic and concerning change in how one of America’s strongest allies is viewed.

Fetterman: “Pick Israel. Pick Civilization.”

Fetterman didn’t mince words when addressing fellow Democrats.

“If you have to pick a side, pick our side—pick civilization, pick Israel,” he said.

He emphasized that Israel remains a key democratic ally in the Middle East, sharing values like freedom, rule of law, and individual rights—principles that align closely with the United States.

His message was clear: abandoning Israel could have serious consequences for global stability and U.S. credibility.

Backing Trump and U.S. Military Action Against Iran

Fetterman also stood firmly behind recent joint military operations between the United States and Israel targeting Iran, calling the actions “necessary.”

The strikes came amid rising tensions and ongoing concerns about Iran’s nuclear ambitions, as well as pressure from President Donald Trump.

While some Democrats criticized Trump and even floated impeachment rhetoric, Fetterman took a different stance.

“Why can’t we just support our military?” he asked. “You don’t have to agree with everything a president says to stand behind America’s mission.”

Ceasefire Uncertainty Raises Stakes

Shortly before a key deadline, the U.S. and Iran reached a temporary ceasefire agreement. However, renewed strikes between Israel and Iran have raised doubts about how long the deal will last.

The situation remains volatile—and the stakes couldn’t be higher.

A Growing Divide Inside the Democratic Party

Fetterman acknowledged that his position puts him at odds with many in his party—but made it clear he won’t back down.

“We should be on the side of America. We should be on the side of the free world,” he said.

As tensions rise overseas and political divisions deepen at home, Fetterman’s remarks highlight a broader debate about America’s role in the world—and whether long-standing alliances like Israel will continue to receive strong bipartisan support.
