Democrats To ‘Reform’ Supreme Court?

Former Obama Attorney General Eric Holder is openly calling for sweeping changes to what he calls a “broken Supreme Court,” urging Democrats to prepare for major reforms if they win back full power in Washington.

During an appearance on The MeidasTouch Podcast, Holder said it’s time for Americans to face the “reality” that the nation’s highest court must be restructured.

“It pains me to say this, but the Supreme Court is a broken institution,” Holder said. “This has to be part of the national conversation in 2026 and 2028 — what are we going to do about the Supreme Court?”

Holder added that if Democrats capture the White House and both chambers of Congress in 2028, “Supreme Court reform has to be on the table.”

🔹 The Left’s War on the Conservative Court

Democrats have spent years attacking the Supreme Court’s constitutional, pro-America rulings, especially those overturning Roe v. Wade and reaffirming presidential immunity — both viewed as major victories for conservatives and President Trump.

Holder’s latest remarks echo his 2019 call to “pack the court” by adding extra justices — a move many warn would permanently destroy the Court’s independence and give the Left unchecked control over America’s legal system.

🔹 Biden’s 2024 “Reform” Plan Drew Fire

President Joe Biden joined the attacks last year, blasting “extreme opinions” from the Court while unveiling his controversial “reform” agenda.

Biden proposed term limits for justices, a binding ethics code, and even a constitutional amendment to counter the Court’s immunity decision — a move seen by critics as direct revenge against President Trump’s legal victories.

“Extremism is undermining public confidence in the court’s decisions,” Biden claimed during a nationally televised speech in July 2024.

🔹 Conservatives Warn: The Left Wants Total Control

Critics say Holder’s comments reveal a growing Democratic strategy to reshape the judiciary and silence the last major check on their power.

Under President Trump’s leadership, the Supreme Court returned to an originalist interpretation of the Constitution, protecting life, liberty, and religious freedom — principles that liberal activists now call “broken.”

If Democrats succeed in their 2028 plan, America’s system of checks and balances could be changed forever.

🔹 Bottom Line

Eric Holder’s push to “reform” the Supreme Court isn’t about fixing it — it’s about politicizing it. As Democrats prepare for 2028, conservatives warn that the Left’s ultimate goal is total control over every branch of government.
