RNC Releases Christmas Message
Republican National Committee leaders shared a message of optimism this Christmas, highlighting what they say are improving conditions for American families under President Donald Trump.
In a holiday video released Wednesday, Joe Gruters, chairman of the Republican National Committee, encouraged Americans to slow down during the Christmas season and focus on family, faith, and gratitude.
“Christmas is a time to pause, reflect, and spend meaningful moments with those closest to us,” Gruters said. He urged families to appreciate the deeper meaning of the holiday while enjoying time together with loved ones.
New RNC Leadership Emphasizes Stability and Growth
Gruters was unanimously elected RNC chairman in August, following former chairman Michael Whatley’s decision to pursue a U.S. Senate seat in North Carolina. Since taking on the role, Gruters has focused on reinforcing traditional Republican values while highlighting economic trends he says are benefiting everyday Americans.
In his Christmas message, Gruters pointed to signs of economic improvement under the Trump administration, particularly for working families and retirees.
Economic Relief a Key Theme This Holiday Season
According to Gruters, policies enacted under President Trump are helping ease financial pressure for millions of households. He cited rising wages and slowing price increases as welcome developments after years of economic strain.
“This Christmas season, many Americans are finally seeing some relief,” Gruters said. “Paychecks are stronger, prices are beginning to come down, and families are feeling less stress at the kitchen table.”
While acknowledging there is still work ahead, Gruters said the overall direction of the country gives many Americans renewed confidence heading into the new year.
A Message Focused on Family and the Future
Gruters concluded his remarks by extending holiday wishes to families across the nation, emphasizing unity and gratitude.
“From my family and everyone at the Republican National Committee, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a joyful holiday season,” he said.
The message reflects a broader effort by Republican leaders to connect economic stability with timeless holiday values—particularly for Americans focused on family, faith, and financial security as the country looks toward the year ahead.
