Trump Says Gas Cars Can't Be Banned, You Agree?

Newsom Calls Trump A Stone Cold Liar

President Trump Takes Charge While California’s Democrat Governor Melts Down Over Law-and-Order Move

In a move welcomed by many Americans who are fed up with rising crime and chaos in liberal-run cities, President Donald Trump authorized the deployment of the National Guard to Los Angeles, pushing past resistance from California’s embattled Democrat leadership.

But instead of showing gratitude for federal assistance in restoring order, Governor Gavin Newsom exploded in outrage, launching personal attacks on the President and accusing him of lying during an appearance on The New York Times podcast The Daily.

“He lied. He lied,” Newsom shouted, adding, “On my mother and dad’s grave… stone cold liar.”

Newsom claimed President Trump never discussed the National Guard during a recent phone call. However, Trump moved forward anyway — showing strong leadership in the face of progressive obstruction.

Trump Prioritizes Public Safety Over Political Theater

Later that evening, President Trump made it official: the National Guard would be deployed to Los Angeles despite objections from Newsom and far-left Mayor Karen Bass. The decision came amid mounting pressure from law-abiding Californians who say their communities have been abandoned by local leaders.

This wasn’t the only moment of friction. Earlier this week, President Trump publicly supported the idea of arresting Newsom for what he called a complete failure in governing — a statement that triggered yet another emotional meltdown from the California governor.

Newsom Declares Trump’s Comment “Authoritarian” — But Voters Aren’t Buying It

In response, Newsom took to social media to claim America was entering dangerous territory:

“The President of the United States just called for the arrest of a sitting Governor… This is a line we cannot cross… an unmistakable step toward authoritarianism,” Newsom posted on X (formerly Twitter).

But many Americans — especially older voters — see things differently.

To them, Trump is doing what weak Democrat leaders won’t: stepping in when cities are overrun with lawlessness, homelessness, and skyrocketing violence. Californians are fleeing the state in record numbers, and Newsom’s policies are widely blamed for the decline.

Bottom Line: Trump Acts, Democrats React

While President Trump continues to lead with strength and common sense, liberal officials in California appear more concerned with media appearances and political grandstanding than protecting their citizens.

This latest episode proves once again: when Democrat leaders fail, it takes a strong President to step in and clean up the mess.
