Biden Thanks Trump
In a moment that stunned Washington, former President Joe Biden on Monday praised President Donald Trump for his landmark peace deal that ended the Gaza conflict and brought home the last 20 Israeli hostages from Hamas captivity.
In a lengthy post on X (formerly Twitter), Biden sounded more like a supporter than a rival, admitting the magnitude of the Trump-led success:
“I’m profoundly thankful and relieved that this moment has arrived — for the final 20 hostages who endured unthinkable suffering and are now reunited with their families, and for the people in Gaza who’ve faced tremendous loss and can at last begin to rebuild their lives.”
Biden went on to acknowledge that the road to peace was anything but easy.
“My administration worked tirelessly to secure the return of hostages, deliver aid to Palestinian civilians, and bring the conflict to a close. I want to acknowledge President Trump and his team for their efforts in successfully finalizing the new ceasefire agreement.”
The exchange marked a historic breakthrough. Under the Trump-brokered ceasefire, all living hostages were returned to Israel, while more than 1,900 Palestinian prisoners were released as part of the first phase of a broader regional peace agreement.
Biden added in his statement:
“With support from the United States and nations around the world, the Middle East is finally moving toward lasting peace — a future where Israelis and Palestinians can live with equal measures of security, dignity, and hope.”
Even Biden’s former National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan admitted on CNN that Trump deserves the credit. When host Dana Bash asked if Trump should be recognized for the achievement, Sullivan replied:
“Of course he does. And I give credit to President Trump, I give credit to Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio. These are hard jobs.”
This rare moment of bipartisan praise underscores what millions of Americans already know — that President Trump’s leadership style delivers real results, not empty promises. His direct diplomacy, strong negotiating hand, and unwavering “America First” vision once again positioned the U.S. as the world’s most effective peace broker.
For many conservatives, Biden’s acknowledgment represents long-overdue validation of Trump’s foreign-policy legacy — a record defined by strength, negotiation, and peace through power.
