Trump Team Doubles Down On ICE Support
Los Angeles, CA — As tensions over illegal immigration flare in California, FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino are defending recent Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids in Los Angeles. Their firm response comes amid growing outrage from Democratic officials who claim the law enforcement operations are “terrorizing” communities.
But for many Americans, the real threat isn’t ICE—it’s the lawlessness being tolerated by liberal politicians.
Federal Officers Target Criminal Suspects; Protesters Turn Violent
According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), over 800 protesters gathered to oppose the arrests of several individuals, including a prominent union leader tied to sanctuary efforts. The demonstration turned hostile when protesters breached federal property and vandalized government vehicles with spray paint and graffiti.
Deputy Director Bongino fired back in a bold statement on X:
“The right to protest does not mean the right to attack law enforcement or obstruct legal immigration operations. The law will be enforced.”
He added:
“The days of chaos ruling our streets are over. Obey the law—or go to jail. It’s that simple.”
Mayor Karen Bass Condemns Raids, FBI Fires Back
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass criticized the ICE actions as “deeply offensive” to her city and constituents. But FBI Director Kash Patel had a terse reply. Quoting her post, he wrote simply:
“We will.”
White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller also weighed in, dismissing Bass’s comments:
“You have no say in this at all. Federal law is supreme—and it will be enforced.”
Democrats Claim Asylum Seekers Being Treated Unfairly
California Democrat Rep. Jimmy Gomez claimed that lawful asylum seekers are being swept up in the raids and placed in overcrowded facilities, where some women and children are reportedly sleeping outside in tents.
“ICE is detaining people even when courts have said they can’t be deported,” Gomez alleged.
“The building goes dark at 5 p.m., and families are left in pitch black.”
Gomez was joined by Reps. Norma Torres, Lou Correa, and Luz Rivas, all Democrats who visited one of the ICE detention facilities over the weekend to demand answers.
Conservatives Applaud Return to Law and Order
While liberal lawmakers continue to defend illegal border crossers and accuse federal agents of cruelty, many Americans are applauding the renewed commitment to law and order. Under the Trump administration’s leadership, federal agencies like ICE, the FBI, and DHS are reclaiming control over a crisis that’s been ignored for far too long.
The message is clear: Sanctuary city politics will no longer shield criminals from accountability. Federal law will be upheld—and no activist, politician, or protest mob is above it.
