Trump Makes New Endorsement
Voters in the Sunshine State head to the polls April 1st — and President Trump is making sure conservatives are paying attention.
With several critical congressional seats on the line, President Donald J. Trump took to Truth Social over the weekend to boost support for two strong America First candidates in Florida’s special election.
Trump Endorses Randy Fine in Florida’s 6th Congressional District
The president didn’t mince words in his endorsement of Florida State Senator Randy Fine, who’s running to fill the seat vacated by Mike Waltz — now serving as Trump’s National Security Adviser.
“Randy Fine is a proven America First Patriot,” Trump wrote. “Harvard-educated, a successful businessman, and a powerful conservative voice in Florida. He has my Complete and Total Endorsement.”
Trump emphasized that Fine would work alongside him to:
- Secure the southern border
- Defend the Second Amendment
- Promote American energy dominance
- Support our veterans and military
- Cut taxes and restore economic strength
Randy Fine’s campaign has gained momentum, even as Florida Governor Ron DeSantis threw cold water on expectations. “The district is strongly Republican,” DeSantis said. “But I don’t expect the margins we saw in 2020.”
Jimmy Patronis Gets Trump’s “Complete and Total” Support in Florida’s 1st District
Also earning President Trump’s seal of approval is Jimmy Patronis, a fourth-generation Floridian and former state Chief Financial Officer running for the seat left open by Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.).
“Jimmy has been a great friend to me and to the MAGA Movement,” Trump wrote. “He’s running an outstanding campaign — he WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN.”
Patronis is well-known in the Florida Panhandle as a small business owner and trusted conservative. Trump originally nominated Matt Gaetz for Attorney General, but Gaetz later stepped back following scrutiny tied to a House ethics probe.
Democrats Raise Big Bucks — But Will It Be Enough?
While the GOP remains favored in both districts, Democrat fundraising numbers have raised eyebrows.
- Gail Valimont (D) has raised $6.4 million
- Josh Weil (D) brought in a staggering $8.9 million
- In contrast, Jimmy Patronis reported $1.2 million, and Randy Fine raised $560,000
Despite the money gap, Trump’s influence remains a major X-factor. Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) even stepped into the fray, endorsing Weil in the 6th District — a move signaling how seriously the far left is taking this race.
Special Election Day: April 1st — All Eyes on Florida
This April 1st, Florida voters will help decide the future of the America First movement. With President Trump back in the White House and MAGA momentum building across the country, these races carry serious weight.
Conservative voters are being encouraged to show up in full force and send two reliable allies to Washington.
“Let’s make Florida REDDER than ever!” one Truth Social user commented in response to Trump’s post.
