Trump Calls Out Air Traffic Controllers
Former President Donald Trump didn’t hold back this week, blasting air traffic controllers who refused to work during the recent government shutdown, accusing them of turning their backs on the country in a time of crisis.
“All Air Traffic Controllers must get back to work, NOW!!! Anyone who doesn’t will be substantially ‘docked,’” Trump declared in a fiery Truth Social post on Monday.
Trump praised those who showed up to work without pay, calling them “true patriots” who put their country before politics. He went on to demand a $10,000 bonus for those who stayed on the job — and a “negative mark” for those who didn’t.
“You didn’t step up to help the U.S.A. against the FAKE DEMOCRAT ATTACK meant to hurt our country,” Trump wrote. “If you plan to leave service soon, please do so — with no severance or payout of any kind!”
Standing Strong Against the Washington Chaos
The Trump administration stood firm during the historic shutdown, which became the longest in U.S. history at 41 days. While Democrats played politics, Trump insisted that essential services continue and that federal employees put America first — not party loyalty.
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said the air traffic control system was under extreme pressure as workers went unpaid. Duffy noted that while some could miss one paycheck, missing a second was nearly impossible for many families.
To prevent safety risks, Duffy announced a temporary reduction in flights at major U.S. airports to compensate for the shortage of available controllers.
Senate Moves to End Record-Long Shutdown
Late Sunday, the Senate voted to move forward on a deal that would reopen the government after more than a month of gridlock. The shutdown, triggered by partisan games in Congress, strained federal agencies nationwide — but Trump’s firm stance made it clear he wouldn’t be bullied into submission.
Millions of conservatives have applauded Trump’s leadership during the standoff, saying he stood for accountability, law and order, and loyalty to the American people — values that many feel Washington has long forgotten.
Trump’s Message: “Country Before Politics”
Trump’s callout of air traffic controllers was more than a scolding — it was a reminder that service to America means stepping up, even when it’s inconvenient.
In his trademark blunt style, Trump delivered the message millions of working Americans have been waiting to hear: if you take the paycheck, do the job.
As one Truth Social user commented, “Finally, someone in Washington willing to tell it like it is.”
