RNC Says Trump Sailing To Victory

Republican National Committee Chairman Joe Gruters says he’s “cautiously optimistic” that the GOP will hold the House and Senate in 2026, thanks to President Donald Trump’s powerful leadership, economic record, and focus on election integrity.

In a press release Wednesday, Gruters praised Trump’s hands-on role in shaping a historic ground game and voter turnout operation that he believes will deliver another red wave victory for Republicans.

“We’re two and 39 in off-cycle elections — that’s usually what happens when you hold the White House,” Gruters told Breitbart News. “But this time we have a president who’s obsessed with winning. All the man does is win — and he’s taking the entire Republican Party with him.”

Trump’s Economic Wins Driving Republican Momentum

Gruters pointed to the Trump economy as a cornerstone of GOP optimism heading into 2026.

“Look at what he’s done in just 250 days — no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, no tax on Social Security, and an expanded child tax credit,” he said. “Small businesses are thriving thanks to faster depreciation, expensing, and relief measures that actually help working Americans.”

The RNC chair said Trump’s America First policies have revived confidence among families, retirees, and job creators.

“When the economy is strong, America is strong — and voters know who made it that way,” Gruters added.

‘President of Peace Deals’: Trump’s Foreign Policy Success

Gruters highlighted Trump’s unmatched record of peace through strength.

“He’s the president of peace deals,” Gruters said, noting that under Trump’s leadership, America is respected again — and our allies know where we stand.

The foreign policy message, he said, remains key to winning over independents and disillusioned Democrats.

“People remember how stable the world was under President Trump. They want that strength and peace back.”

Law and Order: Cleaning Up America’s Cities

According to Gruters, law and order remains central to the GOP platform and Trump’s outreach to urban voters.

“He’s going into the cities to clean them up and restore law and order,” he said. “That message resonates with families who just want safe neighborhoods and accountability again.”

Gruters said crime and public safety are shaping up to be major issues in 2026 — and the Republican message of security, stability, and prosperity continues to cut through.

Protecting the Vote: Trump’s Top Priority

Election integrity, Gruters stressed, remains Trump’s number one internal priority.

“It’s what the president talks to me about the most,” Gruters said. “He wants every legal vote counted — and every illegal vote stopped.”

The RNC is now involved in 92 active lawsuits nationwide, targeting ballot access and voting rules that could open the door to fraud.

“We used to play defense. Now we’re playing offense,” Gruters declared. “We’re taking on left-wing groups and dark-money organizations trying to rewrite election laws.”

The Strategy for 2026: Focus, Discipline, and Victory

Gruters admitted that holding the House will be the toughest challenge, but he says Republicans are ready.

“It’s all about the fundamentals — voter registration, turnout, and protecting the vote,” he said.

With 46 competitive races in play — 13 of them in districts President Trump previously won — the GOP chair says the party is united, organized, and laser-focused.

“We’re leaving no stone unturned,” Gruters said. “With President Trump leading the charge, Republicans are ready to win — and win big.”
