Trump Trashes ABC Reporters
President Trump once again took on the mainstream media Monday, pushing back forcefully after an ABC News reporter attempted to confront him over recent military operations. The exchange immediately went viral, becoming yet another example of Trump’s willingness to challenge what many conservatives see as a deeply biased press corps.
ABC Reporter Presses Trump — and Gets a Direct Response
ABC’s Rachel Scott questioned the president about whether he would instruct Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to release video from a Sept. 2 strike on a suspected drug-smuggling vessel. She insisted Trump had previously suggested he was open to releasing the footage.
Trump immediately denied the claim.
“I never said that. You said that—I didn’t,” he shot back, calling out the inaccurate framing.
Scott continued pushing, prompting Trump to deliver a blunt assessment that resonated with many Americans tired of elite media behavior.
“You are the most obnoxious reporter in the whole place,” Trump said. “Honestly, you’re a terrible reporter. It’s always the same game. Pete Hegseth will decide what’s appropriate to release.”
This wasn’t their first clash. Scott confronted Trump during the 2024 campaign at a National Association of Black Journalists event, a moment many conservatives saw as a staged attempt to provoke controversy.
A Pattern of Hostile Media Encounters
Monday’s confrontation follows a series of tense exchanges between President Trump and left-leaning female journalists who repeatedly challenge the administration with what many believe are politically motivated questions.
During a recent press gaggle aboard Air Force One, Trump snapped at a Bloomberg News reporter who persistently interrupted him, telling her:
“Quiet, piggy.”
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt dismissed the media outrage, saying Trump simply refuses to tolerate disrespectful questioning—a trait his supporters have admired for years.
Trump Calls Out The New York Times for “Ugly” Reporting
The president also took to Truth Social to slam a New York Times reporter who co-wrote a story implying he appeared fatigued. Trump criticized both the tone of the piece and the reporter’s motives, calling her “ugly, inside and out.”
To many conservatives, the story was just another example of the legacy media trying—and failing—to paint Trump as weak or incapable, despite his relentless work schedule.
CBS Reporter Tangles With Trump on Thanksgiving
On Thanksgiving, CBS News correspondent Nancy Cordes pressed Trump on vetting procedures for Afghan nationals after a shooting in Washington, D.C.
Trump responded sharply:
“Are you a stupid person?”
The President’s blunt reply drew predictable outrage from progressive media outlets but also applause from voters who see him as the only leader willing to confront dishonest or misleading questions head-on.
Why This Matters to Conservative Voters
For millions of Americans—especially older voters who have watched decades of media bias unfold—Trump’s unapologetic approach is refreshing. They see a President who stands up to a press corps that often behaves more like an opposition party than a neutral arbiter of truth.
As the 2025 political landscape intensifies, Trump’s ongoing battles with mainstream outlets like ABC News, Bloomberg, CBS, and The New York Times continue to highlight the vast divide between the media establishment and the American people.
