Trump Shatters New Record

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem revealed shocking new numbers this week: more than 480,000 illegal immigrants have been arrested in just nine months — and 70% were already convicted criminals or had pending charges.

The announcement came during Noem’s visit to Bradenton, Florida, where she praised President Donald Trump’s “law-and-order” immigration policies for giving federal agents the power to finally go after the worst offenders.

“President Trump unleashed ICE to target the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens,” Noem said. “Some of those arrested include individuals convicted of homicide, incest with a minor, sexual assault of a child, and domestic violence.”

Criminal Illegal Immigrants Flooding the System

According to Homeland Security, nearly three out of every four ICE arrests involved illegal immigrants who had committed crimes inside the United States.

And that figure doesn’t even include gang members, foreign fugitives, or suspected terrorists — meaning the true threat is likely far greater.

Noem emphasized that roughly 70% of those taken into ICE custody were illegal immigrants with criminal convictions or active charges, warning that these aren’t harmless migrants, but dangerous offenders who prey on law-abiding Americans.

Florida Example: The ‘Worst of the Worst’ Finally Behind Bars

Noem highlighted several major arrests in South and Central Florida — violent offenders who had repeatedly entered the country illegally:

  • Erick Carlos Artiles Ramos, an illegal alien from Cuba, convicted of homicide, kidnapping, robbery, and armed carjacking.
  • Oscar Alfredo Retana Marroquin, from El Salvador, convicted of sexual assault of a child and multiple DUIs.
  • Arturo Sanchez Morales, from Mexico, convicted of lewd acts and incest with a minor.

“These are predators, not migrants,” Noem said. “We are not going to let these individuals terrorize our streets or make victims out of American families ever again.”

Trump’s America-First Immigration Policy Taking Effect

The crackdown reflects President Trump’s renewed focus on border security and national safety, empowering ICE to track, detain, and deport criminals before they strike again.

Noem emphasized that the administration’s mission is simple: protect American families first.

“Every family deserves to feel safe in their own neighborhood,” Noem said. “President Trump’s policies are delivering that security.”

🔹 Why It Matters

Illegal immigration isn’t just a border issue — it’s a public safety crisis. With over 480,000 arrests and tens of thousands of violent offenders off the streets, the Trump-Noem strategy shows results that Americans can see and feel.
