Media Says Trump Pardoned All The 'Bad Guys,' You Agree?

Trump To Cause Massive Layoff?

President Donald Trump is making good on his promise to drain the swamp. By year’s end, nearly 300,000 federal jobs will be eliminated, marking one of the largest government workforce reductions in modern history.

Trump Cuts Deep into Washington Bureaucracy

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) confirmed that the administration is on track to cut roughly 12.5% of the federal payroll — about one in eight government workers. Director Scott Kupor noted that most of the reductions are coming through voluntary buyouts and early retirements, rather than mass firings, as agencies streamline under Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) initiative.

“This is happening as planned,” Kupor said, adding that he expects no major surprises before September 30, when the fiscal year ends.

Taxpayer Savings and Accountability

When Trump entered office, the federal workforce had swelled to 4.4 million employees. Cutting nearly 300,000 positions means billions saved in salaries, pensions, and benefits — relief for hardworking taxpayers who have long carried the burden of Washington’s excess.

Conservatives say this move shows Trump is serious about shrinking government, saving money, and restoring accountability in Washington.

What’s Next?

While OPM confirmed the current cuts are on schedule, the White House has not revealed if even more reductions could follow next year. “That’s still to be determined,” Kupor acknowledged.

Trump’s Promise Kept

For decades, Washington politicians talked about cutting waste but never delivered. President Trump is doing what others refused to do — rolling back the size of government and putting power back in the hands of the American people.
