Trump’s Patience Wearing Very Thin
Frustration grows after tense call between President Trump and Russian leader
President Donald J. Trump is reaching his limit with Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rick Crawford (R-Ark.), who spoke out during a national interview on Fox News Sunday.
Following a recent call between Trump and Putin, insiders say the president left the conversation deeply dissatisfied — and conservatives are taking note.
Crawford: Trump Wants to End Wars, Not Start Them
Rep. Crawford, a leading voice on national security and a loyal ally of President Trump, responded to concerns about the ongoing war in Ukraine and the suspicious deaths of political figures in Russia.
“President Trump is not interested in endless wars,” Crawford stated. “He’s shown strong leadership — as he did with Israel and Iran — by prioritizing peace through strength. He wants to finish conflicts, not drag them out.”
Crawford also emphasized Trump’s role in restoring America’s global leadership, something many conservatives believe was lost under previous administrations.
NATO Responds to Trump’s Leadership
The congressman praised Trump’s recent success at the NATO conference, where members agreed to raise their defense spending to 5%.
“That’s the result of Trump’s leadership,” Crawford said. “Other countries are finally pulling their weight, and that’s because they respect President Trump — they know he means business.”
He warned that Putin should take notice, saying, “It would be wise for Vladimir Putin to pay attention. President Trump’s patience is clearly wearing thin.”
Trump Disappointed with Putin Call: “He’s Not There”
After the call, President Trump did not mince words.
“I’m very disappointed with the conversation I had with President Putin,” Trump told reporters Thursday night. “It doesn’t seem like he’s serious about ending the war — and that’s a real problem.”
The war in Ukraine has lasted more than three years, and Trump has consistently called for a swift and peaceful resolution, without dragging America into another long-term conflict.
Peace Through Strength: A Return to Conservative Foreign Policy
Since returning to the White House, President Trump has made it clear: America will lead with strength, demand accountability, and protect our national interests first.
With rising global tensions and the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, many older Americans are once again seeing the clear difference between President Trump’s decisive leadership and the weak diplomacy of the past.
