Trump Deploys National Guard

Los Angeles, CA – President Donald J. Trump has ordered the immediate deployment of 2,000 National Guard troops to Los Angeles, responding to growing chaos as anti-ICE demonstrators escalate their attacks on federal immigration enforcement operations.

ICE Raids Spark Outrage and Lawlessness

The move comes after widespread violence erupted in response to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids targeting criminal illegal aliens. Protesters—many aligned with far-left groups—vandalized property, disrupted operations, and threatened law enforcement personnel.

According to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, the decision was made to protect federal agents and restore order.

“These operations are critical to halting the invasion of illegal immigrants into the United States,” Leavitt said. “California’s Democrat leaders have failed to act. That’s why President Trump is stepping in.”

Trump Blasts Newsom, Bass for Failed Leadership

President Trump took direct aim at Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, blaming them for allowing the situation to spiral out of control.

“If Gavin Newscum and Mayor Bass can’t do their jobs—and everyone knows they can’t—the federal government will,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “We will deal with RIOTS and LOOTERS the way it should be done!”

LAPD Absent as Violence Grows

While federal officials report increasing threats to law enforcement, LAPD has reportedly refused to intervene. Cars were vandalized, buildings defaced, and ICE personnel targeted—yet local police have largely stayed on the sidelines.

Meanwhile, over 800 protesters gathered in Los Angeles alone, with demonstrations spreading to cities nationwide, including New York.

DHS: Rioters in NYC Arrested After Attacking ICE Facility

The Department of Homeland Security confirmed that more than 150 agitators gathered outside a federal building in New York City, attempting to interfere with ICE operations. The NYPD responded swiftly, arresting five.

“Unlike Los Angeles, New York law enforcement acted quickly,” DHS posted on X. “Any attack on law enforcement will be met with prosecution.”

Newsom Responds, but Trump Stands Firm

Governor Newsom labeled Trump’s deployment “inflammatory” and insisted California had the resources to manage protests, despite evidence to the contrary.

“There is no unmet need,” Newsom wrote. “We’re in full coordination with local authorities.”

But critics say Newsom’s weak stance has allowed lawlessness to flourish—and now, President Trump is taking bold action to defend the rule of law.

🔹 The Bottom Line: Trump Acts Where Democrats Fail

This latest crisis is yet another example of Democrat leadership collapsing under pressure, while President Trump continues to defend American sovereignty and public safety.

With the National Guard now on the ground, the administration has made it clear: lawlessness will not be tolerated, and America’s borders—and law enforcement—will be protected.
