Trump Issues Warning To Iran
Washington, D.C. – President Donald J. Trump has once again made his position crystal clear: Iran must abandon its nuclear weapons program—or face serious consequences.
Speaking from the Oval Office on Wednesday, President Trump said that while the United States is open to diplomatic solutions, military force remains an option if Tehran refuses to cooperate.
“I’m not asking for much,” Trump stated. “But they can’t have a nuclear weapon. Period.”
U.S. Military Prepared, Israel to Play a Leading Role
President Trump emphasized that if diplomacy fails, military action will be considered, and Israel will be a key partner.
“If military action is needed, it will happen. Israel will obviously take the lead. But make no mistake—America acts in its own interest,” Trump said firmly.
Though he declined to provide a timeline, the president signaled that the results of upcoming talks will determine how the U.S. proceeds.
Trump: Talks Could Start This Weekend—But Patience Is Limited
Earlier this week, President Trump revealed that direct talks with Iran could begin as soon as Saturday. However, he didn’t mince words: “If Iran drags its feet, they’ll be in serious trouble.”
Iran has countered by proposing indirect talks in Oman, with Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi meeting U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff, moderated by Oman’s foreign minister.
This move highlights the ongoing mistrust between Washington and Tehran.
Trump Reversed Obama-Era Deal, Reimposed Sanctions
President Trump’s position on Iran is nothing new. During his first term, he courageously withdrew from the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, a controversial agreement pushed by former President Obama that allowed Iran to enrich uranium in exchange for sanctions relief.
Trump reimposed strict sanctions, which devastated the Iranian economy and cut off funding to hostile activities in the region.
Iran Enriching Uranium Beyond Limits—Western Nations Alarmed
Since Trump exited the deal, Iran has ramped up uranium enrichment far beyond allowed levels, fueling fears that the regime is seeking a nuclear weapon under the guise of civilian energy.
While Tehran insists its program is peaceful, Western intelligence agencies and global watchdogs remain unconvinced.
The threat of a nuclear-armed Iran is a grave concern to both the U.S. and its allies in the Middle East.
Peace Through Strength: Trump’s America Stands Ready
President Trump’s message to Iran—and the world—is unmistakable: The United States will not tolerate the rise of a nuclear-armed dictatorship in the Middle East.
Through strength, resolve, and unwavering support for our allies like Israel, Trump is once again showing real leadership on the world stage.
If Iran wants peace, it must end its nuclear ambitions—before the clock runs out.
