Cheney Says Trump Made GOP Lose Election, Do You Agree?

Schumer Rubs Salt In GOP Wounds

Democrat Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer decided to rub salt in the wounds of the Republican Party after he announced that the Democrats’ success in keeping control of the Senate was a “victory” for the American people.

According to Fox, Schumer’s comments came after a number of media outlets strongly predicted that the Democrats would keep control of the Senate after Democrat Catherine Cortez-Masto defeated Republican Adam Laxalt in Nevada.

Schumer taunted Republicans and said, “With the races now called in Arizona and Nevada, Democrats will have a majority again in the Senate. And I will be the majority leader. This election is a victory, a victory and a vindication for Democrats, our agenda, and for the America and for the American people.”

Schumer went on to call all of the Democrats who won “terrific candidates” and thanked the “American people who rejected the anti-democratic, extremist MAGA Republicans”.

“Our candidates Catherine Cortez Masto, Mark Kelly, Maggie Hassan and John Fetterman and Raphael Warnock are just fine human beings who really care about people who have the understanding of how to get things done. And those who have been in the Senate have already accomplished great things,” Schumer added.
