Is the media wrong again about President Trump’s bold strike on Iran? New Pentagon intel says yes.

Fresh from the Department of Defense, new assessments confirm that U.S. bunker-buster strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities — personally authorized by President Donald Trump — have set back Tehran’s atomic weapons program by up to two full years.

“We’ve degraded their nuclear program by at least one to two years,” said Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell during a briefing Wednesday. “Intelligence also suggests their ambition to build a bomb has taken a serious hit.”

Trump’s Strike Hits Harder Than Critics Expected

The June 22 U.S. airstrikes targeted three key nuclear facilities in Iran: Fordow, Isfahan, and Natanz. These sites were believed to be central to Iran’s secretive enrichment operations. While initial media reports downplayed the damage, U.S. defense officials now say the strikes were far more effective than originally thought.

In fact, according to the Pentagon, the Fordow facility was “completely obliterated.”

Iran Scrambled Before the Strike – But Was It Too Late?

Satellite footage revealed over a dozen cargo trucks leaving Fordow in the hours before the attack — sparking speculation that Iran may have attempted to move critical materials or centrifuges. However, the U.S. has flatly denied that any nuclear assets were successfully relocated.

When pressed on the matter, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth was visibly frustrated. “There’s no credible intel showing Iran moved anything of significance,” he told reporters.

UN Warning Contradicted by U.S. and Israeli Intelligence

While UN nuclear chief Rafael Grossi claimed over the weekend that Iran could resume uranium enrichment in just a few months, U.S. officials say the actual physical destruction of infrastructure will take far longer to rebuild.

Israeli security services — closely monitoring the aftermath — are reportedly aligned with Washington’s assessment and remain on high alert.

Even Iran Admits the Damage Is Real

In a rare admission, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi told CBS that Fordow had been “heavily damaged,” though he insisted the “technology and know-how” remain.

Still, Pentagon spokesman Parnell doubled down:

“Based on all intelligence we’ve reviewed, those facilities — especially Fordow — were wiped out.”

Why It Matters

President Trump’s bold decision to take military action sends a strong message to rogue regimes — and shows that American strength and deterrence are alive and well under conservative leadership. Despite media skepticism and global handwringing, the results speak for themselves: Iran’s nuclear program has been crippled, and America is once again leading from the front.
