Trump and his team want perfection and efficiency!
At the 2025 Border Security Expo held recently in Phoenix, Arizona, top immigration enforcement leaders made strong calls for dramatically improving America’s deportation process. Todd Lyons, the newly appointed Acting Director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), set a bold tone, declaring that deportation operations should run “like Amazon Prime—but involving human beings.”
Lyons, hand-picked last month by Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem to revive stalled deportation rates, emphasized the urgent need for a business-oriented approach to immigration enforcement. He argued that efficiency and rapid response—hallmarks of private-sector success—should guide ICE’s strategy to handle America’s ongoing border crisis.
Private Sector Solutions for Immigration Enforcement
Tom Homan, President Trump’s appointed Border Security Czar, also delivered a powerful keynote speech endorsing strong collaboration with private companies to boost deportations.
“We need more detention beds, more charter flights,” Homan stated. “That’s precisely why many of you from the private sector are here. Leave law enforcement duties to our brave officers, but logistics should be fully contracted out.”
This proactive push toward privatization aligns with conservative values emphasizing fiscal responsibility, efficiency, and robust national security.
Trump Administration Defends Legal Measures to Remove Criminal Migrants
Homan further supported President Trump’s decisive immigration policies, particularly citing the administration’s use of the 1798 Alien Enemies Act to deport violent Venezuelan gang members to third countries like El Salvador. He criticized recent attempts by lower courts to halt these lawful actions, expressing frustration with activist judges and applauding the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn these injunctions.
“This is a congressionally authorized measure,” Homan insisted. “It’s disturbing that lower courts attempted to block us from protecting American citizens.”
As the Trump administration intensifies its border security and immigration enforcement efforts, leveraging private-sector efficiency appears central to their strategy. Conservatives concerned about the future of America’s sovereignty and safety continue to support such decisive action at our southern border.
