The Trump Administration wants answers.

The National Football League is once again under fire — this time from Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, who blasted the league for selecting Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny as the 2026 Super Bowl halftime performer.

Noem says NFL executives “won’t be able to sleep at night” after promoting an artist who refused to perform in the United States because of President Trump’s immigration policies.

“They’re Weak — We’ll Fix It,” Noem Says

In an interview with conservative host Benny Johnson, Noem didn’t hold back.

“They’re weak, they don’t know what they believe, and they’ll regret it,” she said. “We’ll win, God will bless us, and at the end of the day, we’ll stand proud as Americans.”

Noem revealed that ICE agents will be present at the Super Bowl — set for Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California — ensuring that federal laws are enforced and that fans can enjoy the event safely.

“The Department of Homeland Security is responsible for keeping the event safe,” she added. “Everyone deserves to go to the Super Bowl, enjoy it, and leave safely. That’s what America is about.”

White House Pushes Back

The White House quickly tried to downplay the controversy. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said there’s “no tangible plan” to send ICE to the Super Bowl — though she reaffirmed the administration’s stance on deporting criminal illegal immigrants.

“As far as ICE being at the Super Bowl, there’s no plan in place right now,” Leavitt said. “However, we will continue to arrest and deport illegal immigrants who break the law. That’s our duty to this country.”

Bad Bunny’s Anti-Trump Stance

Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, made headlines earlier this year when he told i-D Magazine that he avoided performing in the U.S. because of Trump administration deportations.

“We were very concerned that ICE could be outside my concert,” he said, adding that the situation made him uncomfortable performing in America.

The rapper’s comments drew outrage from millions of hardworking, law-abiding Americans who see his boycott as a slap in the face to U.S. fans and taxpayers who built the country’s entertainment stage.

NFL Faces Growing Backlash

Many conservatives see the NFL’s latest move as another example of the league pandering to liberal Hollywood values instead of honoring patriotism, faith, and law enforcement.

Fans are calling for the league to “bring back real American performers” who love the flag, respect the military, and stand for the national anthem.

“This isn’t the NFL we grew up with,” one fan wrote online. “It’s turned into a political circus. We just want football again.”

America Deserves Better

For millions of Trump supporters and everyday patriots, Noem’s comments strike a chord. The Super Bowl should represent unity, pride, and respect for the country — not political division or celebrity activism.

As Noem put it:

“We’re going to enforce the law. If you’re not a law-abiding American who loves this country, maybe the Super Bowl isn’t for you.”
