In a powerful Truth Social statement, President Trump declared:
“Whoever had control of the AUTOPEN is looking to be a bigger and bigger scandal by the moment.”
This comes just as newly released audio of Biden’s classified documents interview with Special Counsel Robert Hur paints a disturbing picture: a frail, confused commander-in-chief struggling to recall basic facts, timelines, and even his own family history.
Biden’s Failing Memory Caught on Tape
The five-hour audio interview — published by Axios — captures Biden slurring his words, mixing up dates, and even forgetting what a fax machine is.
Biden falsely claimed that his son Beau was “deployed or dying” in 2017. In reality, Beau tragically passed away from brain cancer in 2015.
He also flubbed the year of President Trump’s election, incorrectly stating it happened in “November 2017,” and couldn’t remember the name of the National Archives.
At one point, Biden mumbled through a sentence about his home office setup, saying:
“I have a library… for — what do you call it, when they send these—” before being rescued by his legal team.
Autopen Pardons Raise Serious Legal and Constitutional Questions
As Biden’s memory lapses became public, conservative watchdogs started digging into a separate concern: his rushed use of the autopen — a mechanical device used to sign official documents without a pen in hand.
According to a Heritage Foundation investigation, several high-profile Democrats — including Liz Cheney (R-WY) and Adam Schiff (D-CA) — received blanket pardons signed during Biden’s final days, with documents likely stamped by the autopen.
These pardons were issued to key figures involved in the January 6th Committee, raising concerns of corruption, collusion, and political protectionism.

In contrast to Biden’s chaotic handling of the presidency, Trump’s current administration has implemented strict new controls on the autopen. Only two trusted officials — Staff Secretary Will Scharf and Chief of Staff Susie Wiles — are authorized to use it.
That’s a far cry from Biden’s team, which, according to insiders, allegedly allowed aides to liberally use the autopen in the final days of his term — possibly without proper legal oversight.
