The political brawl in Washington just hit a new low — and President Donald Trump’s team isn’t holding back.
After far-left Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez mocked former Trump adviser Stephen Miller’s height, the White House fired off a response that instantly broke the internet.
Late Monday night, White House Communications Director Steven Cheung took to X (formerly Twitter) and delivered a savage rebuttal, posting:
“Sounds like @AOC is often used to the shorter things in life,”
accompanied by a pinching-hand emoji that had social media users howling.
The insult came after Ocasio-Cortez, during one of her livestream rants, referred to Miller as a “4’10” clown.” Miller, who’s actually a full foot taller, didn’t let the remark slide.
Appearing on Fox News’ The Ingraham Angle, Miller hit back hard:
“We already knew her brain didn’t work — now we know her eyes don’t either. She’s a train wreck. Every time she’s on TV, Republican approval ratings go up, and Democrat ratings go down.”
AOC Tries to Backtrack — and Fails
Rather than take the loss gracefully, Ocasio-Cortez doubled down — posting on X that she was “crying” after Miller’s televised comeback.
Moments later, she attempted damage control, claiming she doesn’t believe in “body-shaming” and saying she was merely talking about “short kings.”
“I want to express my love for the short king community,” AOC said.
“I’m talking about how big or small someone is on the inside.”
The bizarre comment left viewers scratching their heads, as she went on to name-drop controversial figures like Andrew Tate, saying she “had no idea how tall he is” but guessed he was “spiritually short.”
Trump’s Team Doesn’t Blink
For his part, Miller — one of the chief architects of President Trump’s America First immigration agenda — brushed off the drama, focusing instead on the White House’s ongoing effort to secure the southern border and restore law and order.
Cheung, known for his fiery defense of Trump, has made a name for himself pushing back on left-wing reporters. Earlier this year, he blasted a Huffington Post journalist as “truly stupid” for questioning the administration’s transparency.
“President Trump does multiple press events per day, live on every platform,” Cheung said. “If you think that’s not transparent, you’re suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
In another exchange, Cheung fired back at a Daily Beast editor who speculated about Trump’s health, calling her a “pea-brained piece of work” — a line that quickly went viral among Trump supporters.
Bottom Line
For years, Democrats like Ocasio-Cortez have taken cheap shots at President Trump and his team. But when Trump’s allies fight back, the left suddenly cries foul.
This week’s exchange proves one thing: the America First movement isn’t backing down. Ocasio-Cortez tried to mock Trump’s team — and ended up getting schooled instead.
