President Donald Trump is issuing a major warning to Republicans, revealing what he believes is a hidden strategy being crafted by Democrats for the 2028 elections.
In a new Truth Social message, Trump urged Senate Republicans to take immediate action—starting with ending the filibuster—before Democrats use it to reshape America’s future.
Eric Holder Signals the Left’s 2028 Power Play
Trump shared a video featuring former Obama Attorney General Eric Holder. In the clip, Holder suggests that if Democrats win full control of Washington in 2028—a “trifecta” of the White House, Senate, and House—they should consider expanding the Supreme Court.
Holder made these remarks during a discussion with Ben Meiselas of the far-left group MeidasTouch, a video originally posted last month.
Trump: Democrats Plan to Pack the Supreme Court
In his post, Trump didn’t mince words. He called Holder—already infamous for the Fast and Furious scandal—an “Obama sycophant” and warned that Holder publicly confirmed what conservatives have suspected for years: Democrats want to pack the Supreme Court with radical left-wing judges.
According to Trump, Holder floated a staggering number—21 activist judges—far more than the previously rumored 15.
A Direct Threat to the Constitution
Trump warned that such a move would fundamentally alter the nation’s balance of power and could destroy the Constitution as we know it.
“They will destroy our Constitution, and Republicans can’t stop it unless we TERMINATE THE FILIBUSTER,” Trump said.

Trump argued that eliminating the filibuster now would put Republicans in a strong position to win the 2026 midterms and make a Republican victory in the 2028 presidential election even easier.
He emphasized that voters—especially older Americans—are tired of Washington gridlock and want leaders who fight for the country instead of stalling progress.

“Why would Republicans hand Democrats this opportunity?” Trump asked.
He urged the GOP to seize the moment:
