Only Trump could have done this.
BREAKING: President Donald J. Trump announced a bold new ceasefire initiative on Tuesday aimed at ending the months-long war between Israel and Hamas. The 45th president revealed that Israel has officially agreed to the framework of a 60-day ceasefire deal, calling on Hamas to accept the offer—or face devastating consequences.
Hamas Says It’s “Ready” — But Refuses to Commit to Trump’s 60-Day Plan
A senior Hamas spokesperson confirmed Wednesday that the terror group is “ready to accept any initiative” that leads to a full end to the war—but notably stopped short of endorsing President Trump’s specific 60-day ceasefire blueprint.
“We are prepared to end the war,” said Hamas official Taher al-Nunu, “but only if our full demands are met.”
Those demands reportedly include a total withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza and a permanent ceasefire, in exchange for the release of 50 remaining hostages. Shockingly, Hamas claims that less than half of those hostages are still alive.
Trump’s Ceasefire Deal: A Strategic Push for Peace and Hostage Release
President Trump’s proposed agreement calls for:
- A 60-day ceasefire
- The release of 10 Israeli hostages
- A partial Israeli withdrawal from Gaza
- A major increase in humanitarian aid to civilians
- U.S., Egyptian, and Qatari backing for long-term peace negotiations
An Israeli official stated that while Israel is open to the 60-day pause, it will not commit to ending the war entirely unless Hamas meets clear security demands: surrender, disarmament, and exile from Gaza.
Trump’s Message to Hamas: “Take the Deal—Or It Gets Worse”
On Truth Social, President Trump shared an urgent message:
“Today, my team held a constructive and lengthy meeting with Israeli officials regarding Gaza. Israel has accepted the key terms needed to move forward with a 60-day ceasefire, during which we will collaborate with all sides to bring the conflict to an end.”
“The Egyptians and Qataris, who have put in significant effort to help achieve peace, will be presenting the final offer. For the sake of the Middle East, I urge Hamas to accept it—because this is the best deal they’ll get. The alternative will only be worse.”
Israel Backs Ceasefire—If National Security Comes First
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar confirmed his government’s stance:
“Israel is serious in its will to reach a hostage deal and ceasefire in Gaza.”
However, Israeli leadership insists any agreement must not compromise national security—a position likely to resonate with conservative Americans who believe in peace through strength.
A Trump Doctrine Victory? Conservatives Applaud Strong Diplomacy
President Trump’s proactive push for a negotiated peace through leverage and strength echoes his prior successes in the Middle East, including the Abraham Accords. Many conservative leaders are already hailing this as another example of real American leadership on the world stage.
As negotiations continue in Cairo, one thing is clear: this peace deal has President Trump’s bold, results-driven approach written all over it.
