Is Kamala losing her mind?

Kamala Harris is making headlines again — and this time, it’s not about policy, the border crisis, or her failed 2024 campaign. Instead, Harris is promoting herself as a “historic figure” and announcing that Congress will be displaying a marble bust in her honor.

During an interview with The New York Times about her new book, “107 Days,” Harris said she is no longer “burdened” by trying to make history. In her view, she already has.

“I understand the focus on ’28,” Harris said. “But there will be a marble bust of me in Congress. I am a historic figure, like any Vice President.”

Harris then bragged about her book tour: “Thousands of people are coming to hear my voice. Every place we’ve gone has been sold out.”

Harris Uses Her Book to Attack Fellow Democrats

Harris’ new book is filled with score-settling, and it’s already causing major friction inside the Democratic Party.

She takes aim at Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, accusing him of pestering her staff with questions about how to get Pennsylvania artwork showcased at the Smithsonian. Harris claims he wanted to be involved in every decision, forcing her to remind him, “A vice president is not a co-president.”

But Shapiro isn’t staying quiet.
He blasted Harris’ claims as “blatant lies,” telling The Atlantic:

“That’s complete and utter bull—. She’s trying to sell books. Period.”

Shapiro said he simply asked reasonable questions — the kind anyone would ask if they were being considered for a national ticket. His message was unmistakable: Harris is rewriting history to boost her image.

Biden Administration Thrown Under the Bus

Harris also uses the book to blame President Biden’s White House for sidelining her and refusing to defend her during controversies — including the border crisis she was tasked with overseeing.

She writes that getting any positive acknowledgment for her work was “almost impossible,” accusing Biden’s inner circle of letting her “shoulder the blame” as illegal crossings hit historic highs.

For many voters — especially conservative Americans age 50+ — Harris’ attempt to shift responsibility is nothing new. The border crisis exploded under the Biden-Harris administration, and millions still remember the Vice President’s refusal to visit the border for months.

A Marble Statue Won’t Rewrite the Last Four Years

Harris may be celebrating her upcoming bust in Congress, but Americans are still dealing with rising crime, inflation, and an unsecured border — issues that grew worse under the Biden-Harris team.

And while Harris promotes her “historic legacy,” former President Trump continues to focus on border security, energy independence, and restoring stability — policies that many older voters say they miss.

A marble statue in Washington, DC may honor Harris, but it won’t erase the record of the past four years — or the frustration many Americans still feel.
