Trump Administration Responds: “We Will Always Protect Social Security and Medicare”

In a swift response, the Trump White House hit back—defending the President’s long-standing commitment to protecting Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.

“President Trump’s position is clear: he will always protect Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid for eligible beneficiaries,” said Assistant Press Secretary Liz Huston.

She added that the real threat to American seniors comes from the left’s dangerous push to give these benefits to illegal immigrants—a move that could devastate the programs older Americans rely on every single day.

Green’s Record: Failed Impeachment Attempts and Censure by Congress

This is far from Green’s first attack on Trump. He led several failed impeachment efforts during the President’s first term. And in March, the House of Representatives formally censured Green—one of the most serious punishments in Congress—after he interrupted President Trump’s February 4 address to the nation.

The final vote: 224–198, sending a clear message to Green that even his colleagues have had enough of his political stunts.

Green Attacks Trump Over Gaza Policy—While Americans Worry About Safety at Home

Green also renewed his criticism of President Trump’s strong stance on the Gaza Strip. Earlier this year, Trump floated the idea of securing the war-torn area to protect U.S. interests—a move many military and intelligence experts supported.
