Elitist behavior?

Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett caught boarding plane before wheelchair-bound flyers—with a police escort, no less.

A viral photo is stirring major backlash across the country. Texas Democrat Jasmine Crockett is under fire after she was seen allegedly skipping the boarding line—including bypassing disabled passengers in wheelchairs—at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. What’s worse? She did it with a taxpayer-funded police escort in tow.

Republicans Call It a “Shameful Abuse of Privilege”

Rep. Lisa McClain (R-Mich.), Chair of the House Republican Conference, shared the shocking image on social media. She accused Crockett of exploiting her political status and disrespecting Americans with disabilities.

“Caught in action: Jasmine Crockett using a police escort—paid for by taxpayers—to cut ahead of everyone in line, even leaving disabled passengers behind,” McClain wrote. “Just your typical Democrat power grab—nothing to see here!”

The post ignited a firestorm online, with thousands of Americans expressing outrage over what many are calling elitist behavior from out-of-touch liberal politicians.

Did Crockett Violate Disability Boarding Laws?

According to federal regulations, any passenger who identifies as needing extra time due to a disability must be allowed to board before others. This rule wasn’t followed on Sunday’s Delta flight from Atlanta to Washington, D.C., where Crockett reportedly boarded before two wheelchair users and all other passengers.

She was seen accompanied by a police officer and what appeared to be a staff member. Her boarding pass was scanned, and she went directly onto the plane.

Delta Air Lines has not issued a statement. Crockett’s office offered no comment when pressed by reporters.

The Bigger Picture: Is This Who Democrats Want Leading Oversight of the Federal Government?

Rep. Crockett currently serves as the vice ranking member on the powerful House Oversight Committee—and insiders say she’s aiming to chair it. That role would give her immense authority over how the federal government is scrutinized—including oversight of President Trump’s ongoing America First agenda.

Many conservatives are alarmed that someone with a public record of disrespectful behavior and blatant partisanship could soon be in charge of holding federal agencies accountable.

Crockett Lashes Out at Trump After Airport Backlash

Rather than apologize or clarify, Crockett doubled down. She took to social media on Sunday, firing off at President Trump:

“Every time you say my name, you’re reminding the world that you’re terrified of smart, bold Black women telling the truth.”

Trump didn’t hold back either, calling her a “low IQ person” and saying Crockett represents a Democrat Party in total disarray.

Controversial Commencement Speech Sparks Further Outrage

This isn’t the only time Crockett made headlines that day. While delivering a commencement address at Tougaloo College in Mississippi, she invoked the 2023 Alabama riverfront brawl, referencing a viral video where a man used a folding chair as a weapon during a racially charged altercation.

“Let me tell you, we know how to use a chair—whether we’re pulling it up or doing something else with it,” she told graduates.

Critics say the comment was a not-so-subtle nod to violence, with Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah) calling the remarks “not cool” and “deeply inappropriate.”

Why This Matters for American Voters

Crockett’s actions—both at the airport and in her public remarks—raise serious concerns about judgment, leadership, and values. Cutting in front of disabled Americans and glorifying violent imagery sends a message that’s out of touch with the hardworking men and women who make this country run.

As the 2026 elections approach, voters will be watching closely. Do Democrats really want this kind of behavior at the helm of government oversight?
