Simply unacceptable behavior from Harvard.
President Donald Trump is taking bold action against Harvard University after a bombshell federal report revealed shocking levels of unchecked antisemitism on campus.
According to the Trump administration’s Joint Task Force to Combat Anti-Semitism, Jewish students at Harvard were spit on, harassed, and even taunted with Nazi slogans like “Heil Hitler” — all while the Ivy League school looked the other way. The report says Harvard was either deliberately indifferent or even a willing participant in the abuse.
Jewish Students Targeted — Trump Steps In
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) conducted 50 listening sessions and spoke with over 500 Jewish students. The findings are disturbing:
- Over 60% of Jewish students reported antisemitic discrimination.
- More than 1 in 4 said they feared for their physical safety.
- Nearly 75% said they were afraid to express political views.
This pattern of systemic antisemitism violated federal civil rights laws, according to the administration.
Harvard Could Lose Hundreds of Millions in Federal Funding
In a letter sent Monday to Harvard President Alan Garber, the Trump administration warned the university: comply with federal civil rights law immediately — or lose all federal funding. That includes:
- $800 million already given since 2023
- $256 million in current contracts
- $8.7 billion in multi-year grants
“Failure to act will result in a full cutoff of funding and permanently damage Harvard’s relationship with the federal government,” the letter stated.
Disturbing Details from the Report
The 57-page report includes horrifying examples of antisemitic attacks on Jewish and Israeli students:
- Spit on for wearing a yarmulke
- Stalked on campus
- Jeered with “Heil Hitler” while waiting for transportation
- Excluded by radical student groups
- Ignored by university officials
The report concluded that Harvard allowed a hostile environment to fester — one where Jewish students were isolated, intimidated, and silenced.
Trump: “No More Special Treatment for Ivy League Elites”
President Trump has made it clear: no institution is above the law — not even Harvard. Earlier this month, he signed a bold executive order blocking foreign students from entering the U.S. to attend the school, citing national security concerns and Harvard’s failure to protect civil rights.
Though a federal judge issued a temporary injunction, Trump announced on Truth Social that Harvard is finally cooperating — and that a deal may soon be reached.
“We’ve been working closely with Harvard, and it’s very possible a Deal will be announced. They’ve acted appropriately and seem committed to doing what is right,” Trump said on June 20.
Harvard Pushes Back — But the Facts Speak for Themselves
In a Monday statement, Harvard claimed it has taken “proactive steps” to address antisemitism, citing new policies and disciplinary actions. But many aren’t buying it.
Trump’s team says the school’s actions came only after federal pressure, and that this is just the beginning of restoring accountability in higher education.
