The truth if finally coming out. Hopefully Biden’s administration will be held accountable.
President Donald Trump’s administration is sounding the alarm on a deeply troubling issue buried during Pete Buttigieg’s time as Transportation Secretary. Internal revelations show that the Biden administration greenlit risky wind turbine projects near U.S. highways and railroads — despite repeated safety warnings from engineers and federal officials.
A current Department of Transportation (DOT) official has confirmed that at least 33 formal safety recommendations were overridden in 2023 and 2024, all to push Biden’s radical green energy agenda. These projects were approved dangerously close to critical infrastructure, posing serious risks to transportation safety and emergency communications systems.
🚨 Safety Concerns Ignored for Green Energy Goals
In March 2023, the Commerce Department warned that a proposed wind farm in Illinois could interfere with train radio systems — calling the turbine locations “problematic” and a potential threat. But just nine months later, those concerns were mysteriously withdrawn, allowing the project to move forward.
What changed? Billions of dollars in green energy tax credits — funded by American taxpayers — began flowing under Joe Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act, rewarding wind energy developers at the expense of public safety.
🚧 New Leadership, New Rules: Trump Team Steps In
Now, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy is launching a full-scale review of wind projects approved under Buttigieg. Duffy isn’t holding back, accusing his predecessor and Biden of prioritizing radical climate ideology over the safety of American citizens.
“Joe Biden and Pete Buttigieg prioritized their climate agenda over basic safety—disregarding clear warnings from engineers,” Duffy said. “We’re bringing back common sense and putting the safety of Americans first.”
📡 New Safety Standards Coming
Under the Trump administration’s directives, the DOT will now require a minimum 1.2-mile buffer between wind turbines and transportation routes — a decision backed by studies showing that turbines can disrupt vital radio signals needed for trains, highways, and emergency responders.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is also being brought in to evaluate how wind projects may affect U.S. airspace — another safety risk the prior administration overlooked.
⚠️ 140 Projects Approved with No Safety Review
Even more disturbing, a DOT insider says another 140 wind projects were rubber-stamped without receiving any safety recommendation at all under Buttigieg’s leadership.
This is the same Department of Transportation that, as recently reported, approved over $80 billion in “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” (DEI) spending, while failing to address basic safety needs.
🛫 Buttigieg Under Fire for Airline Safety Lapses
In a recent NPR interview, Buttigieg defended his track record, calling himself “a tough regulator of airlines.” But industry officials say he ignored repeated warnings to modernize air traffic control systems and address staffing shortages — again choosing ideology over action.
🔍 Focus on Equity, Not Safety?
The DOT’s Research and Technology Office, led by Robert Hampshire during this period, was a vocal supporter of the wind projects. During his 2021 Senate confirmation, Hampshire admitted the department would focus on racial equity and climate justice — not necessarily transportation safety.
“We aim to advance equity… and reduce climate impacts,” Hampshire said.
But critics argue that this “woke” agenda led to reckless decisions that endangered lives — all while lining the pockets of green energy insiders.
President Trump’s team is now working to clean up this dangerous mess, implementing strict safety reforms and exposing how the Biden administration traded American safety for political points.
